Your Season to Rise

06/21/2026

Micah 7:8

“Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.”

To someone in your darkest hour who those around you did not lend a hand to lift you up but rather they casted stones adding to the anguish your soul was already in. They did not speak life. They chose to speak death. They did not pray. They gossiped. They did not choose love. They chose hate. They yelled, “the divorce is your fault, and you need to figure out what is wrong with you.” They yelled, “your sins brought on the cancer.” They shouted, “repent.” They yelled, “God is not answering you because you are doing something wrong.” They yelled, “your son or daughter turned from you because you were a bad parent.”

They called you a hypocrite. They called you judgmental. They judged you. They mocked you. They persecuted you. They asked how you were doing, but when you shared the truth, it irritated them and they turned away rather than allow Christ to have His way in and through them to reach you. They mentioned your name in rooms you were not in and acted as though they cared, but you never saw Christ in them, you just felt the witchcraft of their words. When you needed them the most, they turned on you and dishonored your name. They called themselves Christians, yet they hated Christ in you. Their words were stones and you felt them being casted.

You have spent many lonely days and nights crying out before the Lord. Nothing has made sense. You have been tormented by the confusion of it all. You have felt the stones of hate, abandonment, rejection, betrayal, gossip, and judgement. You have felt helpless and hopeless. You have been deeply afflicted in your soul. You have asked the Lord, “How much longer,” only to hear silence. The shout of others and the silence of the Lord have greatly discouraged you and you have felt as though this dark hour is the end. I am here to tell you, this dark hour you have lived in is not your end, the Lord is stepping in and you are about to begin again. Though you have felt forgotten and neglected, you did not deny His name. The Lord is saying to you, “I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Behold, I will cause those of the synagogue of satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie--I will make them come and bow down at your feet and make them know that I have loved you.” (Revelation 3:8)

I am here to tell you, the Lord was testing. He was testing you and He was testing them. They failed. They failed you and mostly they failed Him. The Lord is saying to you today, “Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. For My own sake, for My own sake, I will act; for how can My name be profaned? And My glory I will not give to another.” (Isaiah 48:10-11)

He is saying to you, “O afflicted one, storm-tossed, and not comforted. Behold, I will set your stones in antimony, and your foundations I will lay in sapphires. Moreover, I will make your battlements of rubies, and your gates of crystal, and your entire wall of precious stones. All your sons will be taught of the Lord; And the well-being of your sons will be great. In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; And from terror, for it will not come near you. If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you. Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and brings out a weapon for its works; And I have created the destroyer to ruin. No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from me, declares the Lord.” (Isaiah 54:11-17)

As this word has been stirring in my spirit to release to those who have endured affliction upon affliction, I recalled a word the Lord had given me around October of 2024 when I heard Him say, “I am drawing a line in the sand.” Then for a few months after, He kept repeating, “enough is enough.” To the one who has endured so much affliction and the only way to be delivered from it is for the Lord to step in, I am here to tell you, the Lord is stepping in. (Psalm 34:19) The Lord is stepping in and setting things right. He is silencing the critics. He says to you today, “It will no longer be said to you, forsaken. Nor to your land will it any longer be said, desolate; But you will be called, My delight is in her.” (Isaiah 62:4)

The Lord is bringing an end to the warfare and immense oppression and affliction you have been forced to endure. Through it all, though you have been crushed in your spirit, you never denied His name. Your season is now changing, and He is making all things new for you. (Ecclesiastes 3:4, 11). Those who threw stones, will watch you gather those stones (Ecclesiastes 3:5) and witness you rise (Micah 7:8).
