All at Once
08/01/2026
As I was praying, I sensed the Lord whisper, 'All at once.' I knew He was speaking of a divine turning point in which everything changes for the good of His people. Immediately, Amos 9:11-15 came to me. For many who have endured long seasons of grief, waiting, disappointment, and hardship, there will come a moment when God begins to move in ways that seem to unfold all at once. I believe you are coming into your moment.
Then He drew my attention to Jeremiah 31:4-5. Repeatedly the Lord says:
“Again, I will build you… Again, you shall adorn yourself with tambourines… Again, you shall plant…”
I sensed an emphasis on “Again.” The word 'again' reveals the heart of God. What was interrupted by pain, disappointment, betrayal, trauma, divorce, or sickness is not beyond His ability to restore. He is the God who rebuilds. He is the God who replants. He is the God who restores joy after mourning.
I also sensed an emphasis on “tambourines.” In the Bible, tambourines were instruments of celebration, rejoicing, worship, and victory. Israel had experienced devastation, exile, grief, and loss. The tambourines had been laid aside because there was no song left within them. I love that God didn't merely promise they would survive. He promised they would celebrate again. And they did.
I believe many of you have lost your song. You've been carrying burdens that have left you exhausted, discouraged, and barely surviving. But I have a dose of hope for you today.
The same God who kept His promise then is keeping His promises to you today.
The Lord is still rebuilding.
He is still restoring.
He is still healing.
He is still turning mourning into joy.
And just as He told Israel, I believe He is saying to many of you:
Again, you shall adorn yourself with tambourines.
Again, you will worship.
Again, you will rejoice.
Again, you will sing.
Again, you will laugh.
Again, you will dance.
Again, you will celebrate.
Again, you will dream.
Again, you will love.
Again, you will live with joy.
I believe the Lord is saying:
Do not believe that the hardest season has the final word. I am the God of 'again.' I rebuild. I restore. I renew. I reestablish. I redeem. I reconcile. I am redoing and doing it again for you. The tambourines you laid down in your season of mourning, you will pick up again and they will become your instruments of praise once more in all that I do for you all at once.
One touch from God can change what years of sorrow could not. The God who says "again" is also the God who can move "all at once." What has been broken, He can rebuild, all at once. What has been barren, He can make fruitful, all at once. What has been marked by mourning, He can and He will fill with joy, all at once. Don't mistake the silence for inactivity. Heaven is still working, and the Promise Maker is keeping His promises.
May this be your season of 'all at once'—as the Lord begins to rebuild, restore, renew, reestablish, redeem, reconcile, and give you a redo as He establishes His promises and good purposes in your life. Trust that the God of “Again” is still writing your story.
Shalom,
Tammy Lynn
